Concert of light music from the films

July 19 @ 2:30 pm - 7:00 pm

On Sunday 19th July he acclaimed Feria Chamber Ensemble (including our very own Mike Lea-Wilson on French horn) will return to Horton Village Hall for another concert suitable for the whole family.

After their fantastic Carnival of the Animals last summer, this time they will present a programme of popular classics, and especially music written for, and used on the Silver Screen. Highlight is Gershwin’s spectacular Rhapsody in Blue, framed by music from Schindler’s List, the Lord of the Rings and the beautiful “Gabriel’s Oboe” theme from The Mission.

Set in our beautiful village surroundings, this promises to be a magical afternoon of music – one not to be missed! And, as with all our events, the bar will be open, and there will be tea and cake available too.

Doors open 2:30pm, start time 3pm;  tickets are £16.50 adult/£11 under 16s.

To buy your ticket, contact chairman@halsvh.org.uk or call 07711 672007.
