Why not hire Horton & Little Sodbury Village Hall for your wedding reception? Our rates are very competitive and you can host whatever kind of reception suits your plans and your budget.
You can have whatever kind of catering you like – whether it’s a simple budget buffet, or a full sit down meal organised by a wedding planner. Or anything in between. Some wedding receptions we have hosted even draped the inside of the hall in white satin to replicate the look of a marquee.
The hall seats up to 100 people.
Outside we have space for a hog roast or a barbecue. Our well fitted kitchen means that food can be cooked on site if you wish. We have a plumbed in water boiler to provide copious cups of tea or coffee if you want to host a tea party.
Tables, chairs, use of the kitchen, crockery, cutlery, glasses, teapots and cafetieres are included in the hire charge. No hidden extras.
We have a bar area where you can supply drinks for your guests. If you will be charging guests for their drinks, then a mobile bar operator will need to run the bar (we can put you in touch with some).
You can have time before and after the reception to set up/clear away.
Outside we have a patio, a large car park and also a large playing field where you could have games for the children and perhaps a bouncy castle. Or even a marquee.
We are within easy reach of Bristol, Bath, Yate, Stroud and the M4 and M5 motorways. We have free high speed wireless internet. We also have a screen that you might wish to use to project photos or videos.
